Structure

ADEM is a network of organizations and professionals active in the field of migrant children. The network's objective is to share expertise and promote synergies to ensure the defense of rights and interests of migrant children in Switzerland.

Founding partners of the Alliance

Coordination of ADEM is provided by the Swiss Foundation of the International Social Service (ISS), the Terre des hommes Foundation – Children’s Aid and the International Institute for Child Rights (IDE). A Memorandum of Understanding embodies the collaboration between the three organizations on the issue of migrant children in Switzerland and sets out the respective tasks and obligations. It is accompanied by the Concept of the Alliance and the Swiss Ethics Network of Child Rights, which means that organizations are committed to the recognition and enforcement of child rights in Switzerland.

In 2016 the Swiss Refugee Council has joined the ADEM as a partner.
